Samar province-wide gun ban

A total gun ban for the entire province of Samar effective May 1 has been declared by the Philippine National Police (PNP) in Eastern Visayas on orders of Interior and Local Government Secretary Jesse Robredo following the killing of Calbayog City Mayor Reynaldo S. Uy last April 30.
