Cross
For the whole Christian world, the coming of Jesus Christ is the greatest manifestation of God’s love for all of mankind. While many Christian sects do not follow the teachings of the Catholic Church on the Paschal mystery, many of such sects do some sort of observance of the Holy Week. The crucifixion of Jesus Christ was the strongest statement of His obedience to the will of the Father who sent Him so that man will be saved from the throes of sin. People seem to have turned less [...]
Break
School kids are into a long vacation as summertime comes. After hectic schedules and studies, assignments and projects, they suddenly break free into free days of fun. Leaving books and notebooks to a corner and taking up whatever diversity is available at home, school children are just too eager to have an enjoyable summer vacation. The respite is purposely designed in the school calendar to afford the students ample time to unwind and take a well-deserved rest from the grueling activities in [...]
The Paschal Triduum
Celebrated in the last three days of the Holy Week, the Paschal Triduum commemorates the apex of Christian faith – passion, death and resurrection of Christ Jesus. Contrary to pagan notion that Christmas or Jesus’ birth was the height of it, Christ’s death and momentous resurrection from the dead lent meaning to the kingship of Christ and God’s saving power. What was Christ born for as fulfillment of God’s promise of salvation to mankind had he not suffered then died on the cross? [...]
Probes that pay off
Despite the harms that it brings, too much politicking in the country may have positive contribution inasmuch as it drags to the open secrets that, given a good relationship between political rivals, would never be disclosed, hence to remain unresolved. We cannot therefore limit our comments to something negative in characterizing the kind of politics that we have. Think of how irregularities would perpetuate if not brought to public attention. Imagine if nothing but darkness engulfs our [...]

Nothing and nothing more is necessary but to focus on that goal to achieve and couple it with sincere and hard study. Life in these times has [...]
The name we build but lose
It is normal for us people to build our names in this world. By this is meant that, as time goes by, we keep on augmenting our reputation and credibility. This has become an obsession to some they would do anything just to elevate their name in society, to protect it from any stain. The reason for this is clear—we want to earn respect, admiration, and renown among people. We want them to look at us with fascination and homage, with envy, even with fear, knowing that we are somebody [...]
The simple lesson that Judas Escariot left mankind
Whether we accept or deny the fact, Judas Escariot played an important role on the passion and death of Jesus Christ which is an integral part of the teachings of the Church. Judas Iscariot is probably one of the most hated personalities that figured in the history of Christianity. Christians have aired their revulsions on the man, a hapless victim of circumstances. He was just a mere player in the redemptive act of God, probably a plain victim that did not have much choice as his role was [...]
Skills
Burning with eagerness and fervor are young people who pass every ladder of our experimental educational system. Young minds had been crafted and formed under a curriculum envisioned to equip every learner of the essential knowledge and skills to make them productive citizens. The world of work had been too demanding that the uneducated could find rough sailing in job placement. So competitive is the workplace that those who have finished schooling are given the better chance of being hired. [...]
