500 plus avail of SEAP loan in Sagkahan

About 546 resident of Sagkahan District received their loan pay-out from the city government of Tacloban thru its Self Employment Assistance Program (SEAP) on March 2, 2013.

Mayor Alfred Romualdez and wife  Councilor Cristina G. Romualdez personally distributed the amount to the beneficiaries at the Sagkahan Health Center.

A non- collateral and no-interest loan assistance of the city government, SEAP aims to finance capital and strengthen the livelihood among low income residents and small-time entrepreneurs including housewives.

Also facilitating the program is the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO).

The city government has targeted 10, 000 recipients for the said program. (EDEN BENUSA-REYES)
