RC Leyte Gulf conducts feeding program

Last August 27, the Rotary Club Leyte Gulf led by Asst. Governor Raffy Salazar and its President, Louis Prosia conducted feeding activities to the orphaned children of SOS Village at Diit, Tacloban City.

SOS Village is a non-government organization funded by a German with the mission of providing education to orphaned children. There are about 200 children living in the village who are free of their board and lodging including free education.

The RC Leyte Gulf distributed hotdogs, softdrinks, biscuits and pancit to the pupils who are in Grade l to lV. The feeding activities coincided with the 16th birthday of Arianna, the daughter of Asst. Governor Raffy Salazar. She wanted to celebrate her birthday with the orphans of SOS Village. It is one way of sharing her blessings to the less privileged children of God.

The RC Leyte Gulf officers and members who participated in the feeding activities were AG Raffy Salazar, President Louis Prosia, Doy Alip, Kiko Andrade, Nolie Bantanos, Romy Francisco, Darwin Hui, Casar Lee, Danny Matriano, Boy Sabandal, Boy Franco and Walther Diu.

In the evening, The RC Leyte Gulf members attended the 16th Birthday of Arianna the 3rd daughter of Asst. Governor Raffy Salazar. It was a successful affair attended by the classmates of Arianna from Sacred Heart College, friends and relatives.

A memorable night indeed.!!!
